A Fear of Nothingness

A poem a wrote once..hopefully something positive will come from this..anyways A Fear of Nothingness : If you would seek to die, For one moment suspect there's nothing in the skies Focus on that emptiness, The emptiness that all of a sudden frightens me No matter how bleak, I think life could be nowhere near as empty Humor of Fortune there will always be light, The light will always remain a call to life If we need to see we can peruse our own families, or the annals of history If not for ourslves, than for those who'd wish Memories alone are owed far more than this Just close your eyes, and suppose their nothing in the skies
