Fear In Our Eyes

Life. given to all taken from so many.

People young and old,

leaving with stories yet to be told.

stripped of life long lived.

stripped of their being and what is yet to be.

These are only a few things that many dont see.

they do not see the strain of being me

the one that is afraid to walk down the street.

the problem is, they DO see.

they DO see the worry.

The pain.

The fear in our eyes as a nation.
