fear is powerful fear
fear is powerful
fear is a driving force in our lives
it can bring us together
it can divide us
it is our one great motivator
fear tells us what we can do
fear tells us what we can't do
i used to fear the future
i used to fear the "what ifs"
now however
i see that fear
is the future
the fear of the unknown is thrilling
it is exhilarating
it pushes us to places we want to go
it pushes us to places we don't want to go
but fear pushes us
the future is bright
the fear of it helps us
it tells us what we want
it helps us see what we aspire to be
the fear of the future remains in me
but because i want it to.
