Fear (Sensory Poem)
Fear is the black void that overcomes the world around you at an unexpected time
It smells like the stale coldness of an extremely cold winter night
It tastes like the dryness of your mouth as if you have been deprived of water for days
It sounds like the calm before a terrible, dangerous storm
It feels like being paralyzed while forced to watch a loved one die before your eyes
It looks like a mouse cowering before a cat with no hope of an escape
