There's a fear within me that won’t let me grow

A fear so big that can shake me to the core

There’s a fear within me that stops me from being with you

It comes and goes but it always leaves me blue

There’s a fear within me that stops me from loving you everyday

Because we are portrayed as wrong and you can’t handle what others may say

There’s a fear within me that hopefully will go away

So that we can finally be together and show them our love is here to stay

There’s a fear within me, because I love a girl

And though perhaps I shouldn’t, everyday I love her more and more
