Fear, You Coward

fear is the mayor

and the villain in every heart,

clasping closed on faith

he snips out everything you believe in

and replaces with worry

doubt, and despair-

hope is all gone

he skipped out of town today,

on the train you should have taken

and those steps that

brought you forward

fear has bound you a coward.
