Fearful Limericks
Fear is a four-letter word.
It freezes the heart when heard.
A synonym can be fright.
Chests thumping in the night
At the distant caw of a bird.
A man wavers like elastic Jell-O.
His air colored an undignified yellow,
When approached in the dark
At the spot where he parked
By a sinister, knife-wielding fellow.
A fair lady is filled with terror,
When she locates a stunning error,
In her style of clothing
She is currently loathing,
But realizes that she is its wearer.
A young boy has constant recollection
Of fears of girly infection.
Being chased by tiny beauties,
Who what to shed their cooties
With a kiss seen by visible detection.
A dog hates to see a locked door,
Feeling certain that he’ll pee on the floor.
The footsteps of his master
Travel at any speed but faster,
Leaving said owner with another messy chore.
