Fearless and Found

When I was younger, I was afraid.

At times, I struggled to come to terms

With what my fears even were

But I just knew that I was a coward.

I was scared of failure,

a

broken

heart;

being wrong.

Death made me shiver

I feared

taking the road that everyone walked passed

so they could get to

an easier route. I

was afraid not to conform because

NOBODY

wants to be judged.

It’s so odd not to fit in and I didn’t like

the feeling of being

ALONE.

Now I am older, I’m still afraid

But this time I know exactly

What frightens me.

Not using my full potential,

Not telling the one’s I love that

I

LOVE

THEM

every single day that I’m alive.

it scares me just thinking

of living a life where

I’m not learning everything

I want to know about the world.

I want to influence the young

To take the path less traveled.

It’s true I

was scared that I’d get lost

but now I am

FEARLESS and FOUND.
