Fears
Everyone has fears,
The fear of darkness,
The fear of the crashing thunder,
But I, what I fear the most...
I'm afraid of falling too hard too fast,
I'm afraid of falling for the wrong guy,
I'm afraid of giving my heart to someone else,
Only to be broken again,
I fear of being loved, used, then thrown away,
I fear of letting anyone too close,
I fear of trusting people with my torn apart heart,
But with you, I have nothing to fear,
Because when you're near, I finally feel safe.
With you, I know I'm loved,
With you, I can be myself.
You will forever have my heart,
You are my peace,
My forever shelter.
