Fears Conquered

I conquered my fears by going out,

doing the impossible through baffling scenes,

I wear my heart on my sleeve,

but it never phases me,

Through meticulous time it seems,

I've done more than what I believe,

I stopped worrying about "them" and started to worry about "me".

I conquered my fears by saying "yes" instead of "no",

applying myself to things the teacher would have never believed,

through dyslexia, and auditory processing,

nothing had stopped me,

from learning and being the best I can be.
