Fears, Hopes, and Dreams

Next year is an important year,

It is the year I start my freshman year of college.

Should I be filled with cheer?

Instead I fear I am lacking required knowledge.

That is what scares me;

I do not know what to expect.

How will my professors be?

I do not know what is next!

Although I have many fears,

I am excited about what is to come.

When my post graduation depression heals,

I will be ready to have fun.

I cannot wait to join a club or two,

I also cannot wait to make new friends.

Getting involved in school is cool,

But hopefully the fun never ends.

Overall next year is full of surprises,

But I will take them head on.

Whenever a new stressor arises,

I will keep calm and carry on.
