Feathered little birdie

Feathered little birdie,

Shuttling through the air.

Being pecked by the net.

Being picked up by the air,

and Brought to the other side.

Before it hits the ground again,

it's Hit by another net.

Sizzling through the air.

Sweat dripping down my neck.

Heat in my scarf

Heat beneath my feet

My hair peeking, leaping out from the sides of my scarf and the forehead

I swing my arm, and hit it again.

Sometimes with anger.

Sometimes with frustration.

Sometimes with annoyance.

Sometimes with an escape plan. But, sometimes for me.

Poor little birdie.

Flying across the room.

Locked in. Between two doors.

Poor little birdie.

Locked even under the blue sky.

Poor little birdie.

Locked under the deep blue sea.

Poor little birdie. Poor little birdie.

Shares the grief. With me.

This poem is about how people show frustration on other things even if they are innocent. This poem talks about a bird who is captured and who can't breath in fresh air, who is locked beneath the sky. The bird is all alone and there's no one to share their loneliness because everyone else is just trap in their own w world. The bird has to follow his owner, he can't do what he desires.
