Feathers and Wax

Out of the shadwos a figure did form

Ascending from ash, the pheonix reborn

The clouds are sewn up and the soul is untorn.

Down from the heavens bronze feathers fly

Soft as sea foam, unafraid of the sky

On the back of my wings, Olympus held high.

Your imprudent Icarus flies not with me

Today I am sister of land and of sea

So there may be ash in my heart, but a pheonix in me.
