February 14

I wrote this a month after I lost my grandfather which was over three years ago. I just revisited an old grief blog for teenagers and once I saw it I thought it was perfect to try and use for something that could help me pay for school.

I wrote a song like poem for him, I hope he is watching and reading it as I reveal it to you.

Poppop
You were a man of gratitude and grace.
Your are a man of power and faith.

You shall always be, my poppop , her dad , her husband and most of all the man we love.

You were loyal, and trusting.
Giving and caring.

You stayed true to every word.
You were there and thats what matters, but now your gone and you will forever be what matters!!

Nobody will fill your boots except a few flowers every now and then,
but though I miss you I know your the reason I'm doing so well on my own.

you may be gone but I gained something from losing you,
I now have a guardian angek to protect me and give me strength when I am weak.
