The Feel of Music

It vibrates Through the room The strings on my viola Sing with it It vibrates through my heart I feel it deep inside. I place my bow on the string My fingers are ready The anticipation is tangible As we await the conductor Then, Breathe! Ink comes alive The sound permeates the room Soft, sweet, tender Then crescendoes into a storm I feel every note We give each meaning The storm quiets Gentle breezes play through As our bodies still, The music continues It vibrates.
