Feeling like this

Listening to sad shit
Feeling like I’m in a pit
Emotions gone to shit
In a war against myself
Pretty unable to get help
Mad at myself for someone else
Someone not understanding
Someone else not responding
Blaming everything on myself
No matter the circumstance
No matter what happened
Everything’s my fault
Feeling like this
At an age so young
Knowing that others
Feel the exact same way
A bit wasteful, I think
Throwing childhoods away
Making kids feel like shit
Making them hide it
If I’m like this
Other people have to be too
Although, that’s not really the only clue
An entire generation
So likely to have depression
Not all that surprised
That there’s so much suppression
Feeling like this
At an age so young
Ain’t youth supposed to be beautiful?
