Feeling

Having this depression

Is like an uncontrollable expression

I wear a mask with a smile

That creates a fake profile

I don’t want the attention

I simply want to disappear

But I can feel the apprehension

Of them having an attitude of cavalier

I can’t get up in the morning

Because without a warning

This feeling of emptiness returns

And it burns

I dare myself everyday

To find masks like mine

To make their feeling go away

Because if I can help them

Maybe I can help me

We can hear the anthem

That sings only to us

A feeling of hope

That disappears with the rope

As I meet with my dearest friend

Death
