The feeling

I sit and watch as my memories pass by. A feeling of longing deep in my heart.

I always ask myself why did you go and leave me. It was tearing me apart.

I will never understand why these things happen. Why do they happen so soon.

But all I know is I miss you like the sky misses the moon.

Your face brought joy in my heart. Comfort and safety always

Your smiling face will stay in my mind. Stay in my mind for all days.

Some my ask what I speak of why my tone is so dull.

Well I speak of my grandmother my sorrow stays full.

If I could tell you anything and anything so right.

Hold on to the family you have left and hold on to them tight.
