That Feeling

It's not a person

A place

Or a thing

It's the feeling in my heart,

when all my friends are laughing

It's the late night talks

The evening car rides,

with music blaring

It's the feeling in my heart,

when I know I belong

It's knowing that I have loved,

and been loved

It's being wild,

and free,

and who I want to be
