The Feeling Of A Broken Heart
Tears and a smushed heart shattered across the floor,
Like a precious glass vase and it's pieces,
I don't know what I did to deserve this kind of pain,
"Is it my fault for loving you too much",
"Did I do something wrong",
To be honest during this time I had questions,
And definitely needed answers to them,
I still waited til it's finally ready to be revealed at a certain time,
But man it feels like forever,
"How did we get here?",
You said "I will never hurt you",
But yet you did,
And this time it left me feeling broken,
Basically having the feeling of a broken heart,
The phrase "Anybody wanna buy a heart?",
Is one I don't agree on since it's so valuable to even be sold away,
You was a theft inside of me that stole my heart,
Whom you saw as a very valuable thing to take,
After you escape the laser beams,
The guards who protected it,
The obstacles that were aligned,
So you can just crush it in your pity bare hands,
Let alone tear/shred it into pieces,
And just left it on the floor without picking it up,
And handing it to me saying "I'm really sorry"
With some sympathy,
But no; you chose to be so cruel,
Anyway I'll pick it all up since it's mine,
And fixed it up to hopefully it's original self,
But I'll never forget the feeling of a broken heart.
