Feeling Neglected

Shattered dreams and memories flow slowly down the drain,

with so much joy in life, comes much more pain,

reading the bible late nights to keep from going insane,

setting fire to negativity as they enter your brain,

                            they burst into flames.

Crying tears at night on pain puddle stained pillows,

A wise person once said settle for nothing but the best,

reach for the stars, if you fall, your still higher than the rest,

"O.K." things may be better than you thought,

falling deep into inception, scattered memories are caught,

taking shots at life, liars, & people wasting breath,

washing my hands with their thoughts & cleaning your own mess,

relieving stress from your chest while in the lane of success,

living life to its best, praying daily, & being blessed,

Yeesssssss, your life is worth it.
