Feelings

So many feelings race through my veins,
out of control like a horse without reins.

Happiness because I have something I love,
my symbol for peace like that of a dove.

Greed because I want so many things,
but I'll have to wait and see what tomorrow brings.

Sadness because I'm lonely and scared,
knowing that all along nobody's cared.

Angry because all these feelings are tough,
and knowing that I'm never good enough.
