Dear Happieness

Thank you for bringing me laughter 

your yellow hugs warm me 

give me freckled smiles 

and aches in my tummy

You make me dance and jump

Kindness has never been so easy

with you I am light and free 

a bird set out for adventures at sea

Dear sadness 

Thank you for showing me compassion 

although you make me feel heavy and lost 

give me days of of nothings in bed

doubts and darkness creeping in my head

you give me the expierence 

so that I can get through it again 

and give understanding to others 

who could use a lending hand

Dear Love

Thank you for giving me meaning 

Your arms reach deep 

awakening my soul and making it move

my stomache flips and my head is dizzy 

my thoughts are always the clearest and cloudiest with you 

you show me that selfishness is not the way

by giving my heart recieves more

by loving it will never be cold

Dear Anger

Thank you for giving me control

You burst behind my eyes in colors of red

You've made my fists bleed 

you've made my body shake

I am speachless and loud all at once 

but I can be calm because of you

you have given me the gift of peace
