Feelings

Honestly, I don’t know how to feel,

because everything just feels so real.

It’s as if my heart keeps telling me this lie,

but for some reason I keep wanting to give it a try.

Something that I just don’t get,

For some reason it all feels like a threat.

I have been bruised, scarred, and in pain

What more is left to gain?

All this negativity keeps building inside,

All I want to do is run and hide.

It’s as if my heart wants to put up a fight,

But in the end, its always right.

Sometimes all I want to do is give in,

But I don’t want to let the demon win.

I hate this feeling,

I just want to live a normal life,

I just want to remove the stabbing knife.

The crying has become a daily thing,

What else can my depression bring?

Life can sometimes be so unfair,

But at this point, I just don’t care.
