Feelings ain't shit

Feelings ain't shit The thoughts that taint my mind Ain't something I wish to bind Speaking out to the world Like they have the solution Like my thoughts are pollution Waiting for the answer to flush it away To the next open grave But they keep coming back Like wolves in a pack The feelings won't leave So I hide them in my sleeve Shielding them from your eyes Your pity and the sky The sky that looks down upon me The next puzzle for the key The key of which I am a solid door With no hole for the key So I write it down So I may burn it and drown Into the sorrows of which I was born into So I may not put you With what I've been through But I cannot leave them behind Not when I have a chance in mind So I find paper and ink So I jot down what I think My shitty feelings and sorrows So that I may live for tomorrow So my people won't burden And I am free from uncertain
