FEELINGS OF AN AMATEUR

We were all of each other firsts,

we loved each other with everything we had

we changed each other,

cried with each other,

laughed with each other,

but this day was when we left each other.

Young and foolish

she didn't say a word,

Didn't even ask for reasons.

And then tears started rolling down her face

as she regrets not doing anything.

Stupid, idiot, dumb, she thought.

Only weeks later she grew,

like a caterpillar turned butterfly,

she knew she could fly,

and be happy again.

she knew she could live without him

she knew there was more to life

she knew she could go on
