Feelings have a funny way of doing that

Words have been in my head since I knew how to speak Though I never learned how to communicate my feelings you seem to know everyone of them You seem to know when i feel exhausted And when I'm not And when i feel like everyone is against me You were on my side You seemed to be my best friend until you threw that away like you threw away the fact that I cared about you. I wish you would have stayed but i know that i wouldn't have been happy. Feelings have a funny way of doing things like this You have these false Ideas of love and loss and when they are presented to you They shut down like a flower in the winter Just like you did
