"Feelings Of Mutual Beings"

My hair is thick and somewhat tar

forever to be black and proud

We are not the same kind of anything

but we both have the same smile

My nose is round and yours is thin

I ache for a treasure and pray when sin

You have acres but no rhythym

you can shoot but be no victim

Leave it to me I can play that role

hands up, unarmed I'm feeling cold

But yet we are the same being but different traits

It's you that we envy, It's you that we hate

Even tho you're lighter than my skin exact

it doesn't give you reason to act in such action that determines the power of us two

Lord oh God help us now cuz we all need it

I still claim us kin but you won't receive it

A lot of us are whipped but no longer I

they say that men aren't suppose to tear up, so ima let this poem cry
