Feelings on a Page

A word,

a rhyme,

a syllable in time.

That's all you used to be.

Then it happened:

I took a chance,

stole a glance,

and I couldn't break free.

Feelings on a page -

a rhapsody -

as if my heart bled in words...

I write to feel.

Can't you see?

Now you're so much more to me.
