Feline

Eyes that mesmerize

Fangs masked by smiles

These are all the makings of a cold-blooded feline

Soft to the touch

Purs that warm you up

Paws filled with claws that you never even saw

Look the other way, don’t be naive

Your instincts are telling you “ to flee”

The mousetrap is on display

With the cat looking for it’s pray

Look the other way

Heart as cold as stone

Veins dried to the core

Numb to the feelings and the love and the squealings

Look the other way, don’t wanna bleed

Because this feline wants to feed

All of this pain was meant to be

A replacement for what she seeks

She can’t control the way she is

It’s her nature to lure them in

And everytime she realizes the pain she’s given

Look the other way

Don’t be naive

Unless you want to seethe and hear your screams

This cold hearted killer

Has no pulse or no beat

Stray away

Don’t get too close or you’ll be caged

Afterwards, your heart will never be the same

Look the other way, listen to what I say

This is her predestined fate

But maybe I can change the amount of ache that she makes

Look the other way
