Female

I am not something you wish to see

I am not something you wish to be

I AM ME!

I am not a toy to be put back on the shelf

I am not someone who always needs help

I AM FEMALE!

When an argument comes up it's always, "We should get to hit them back."

and the excuse when they decide to lash

is a measly, "Boys will be boys."

when he touches where you tell him not to

"boys will be boys" because stoping him from doing it again is a no can do

As females we will stand

and to those who dragged us down we will not give a second glance

we are not objects to be played with then thrown away

yet you always leave us on a bay

a female in this world is not easy to be

and that can not be hard to see

I am female

and I know that we will stand

and you better give a second glance
