feral
everything in my body pulling at the thorns you leave
the consequences of your actions being the start of my headaches
i press my tongue to the roof of my mouth when you admit you say things you don't mean
in the context of extreme anger and the lack of watching your mouth
do you say you love me without meaning it in the context of extreme contentment
and the lack of knowing what love is
the white swan has drowned
and the bats cry out of starvation
you burned your body into my mattress so i keep falling into you
the feel of your arms wrapped around me
after you say you hate me
is like ice on a bad burn
the relief in midst of my downfall again
the tower collapses and i watch it once more
someone has to be sick in the head
to willingly take your punches
and i'm so happy it's me
so happy it's finally me
