'Ferocious'

There lies the road ahead

Vacant, with a tint of a luminescent red

So empty, not one step has been made

Weight crumbling upon the shoulders

It feels like a thousand boulders

Heavy

Refrained and scared

They said to be ready

They said to be bold

Frozen in place

Not sure which direction to face

Refusal to take a chance

The time has certainly passed

Staring at the road for twenty years

Holding back the tears

Time wasted

Instead, all that is felt within is vacant

A hollow shell walks among the Earth

Undiscovered potential, gone to waste

Where is the legacy?

Where is the story?

Meaningless and forgotten

Filled with regret

An empty page, left untouched

Is this how you want to be remembered?
