Few Things Last Forever

Few Things Last Forever.

Tomorrow may soon arrive,

Just as today no longer thrives.

In this hustle and bustle of life,

There's an ever-hanging knife.

On well remembered goals and possibilities,

And on long forgotten dreams and memories.

I may breath more breaths,

But I will, as all do, have a death.

There is pain and sorrow sometimes present,

Just as joy and hope are frequently heaven sent.

Few things last forever.

The ones that do, I must treasure.

In this life, its hard to keep it all together,

Especially without the few things that last forever.
