FFA Journey

All of those long hours after school,

All of that heart poured into the gold and blue,

Learning your ways and your rules,

FFA, it was all for you.

You brought me many laughs and smiles,

Memories, gifts, and friends,

Taken me many miles,

And now you’ve brought me to the end.

I will be forever in your debt

For the changes you have made in me.

It is my only regret

That time passes so quickly.

My hourglass is out of sand.

This is the last dance.

Shake the new officer’s hand,

And let them have their chance.

Trust they have the same passion.

Hope they will do well.

How will I know they will do it in this fashion?

Only time will tell.
