#FFA500

There he sits

Between a large anthropoid ape, with shaggy, strong arms

And a North American plant growing on wet, acidic soil.

There he sits

On a white table, with Ty Burrell telling him,

“You’re just as great as the other guy.”

There he sits

Between rubies, strawberries, danger, passion

And gold, lemons, envy, and sunshine.

There he sits

The most influential royal house in 16th century Europe

Always being compared to the mighty Apple.

But all he wants is a friend

A friend who doesn’t have to look like him,

A friend who doesn’t have to like the things he likes,

Not even a friend who actually spends time with him.

All he wants from this friend

Is a name to rhyme with him.
