Fiction

Inspiration from the unreal

Playing off how I feel

Spending days reading books

Hidden away in small little nooks

My friends and mentors were found between the pages

Changing throughout my different stages

Rowling, Snicket, Lewis, King

Our relationships weren't just flings

My mentors came from lands untold

And created an imagination so bold

Brave, intelligent, Kind, and gracious

My mentors came from fictional places
