Fiction

We built our kingdom on hopes and dreams--

Our castle will never fall.

Our fears, our faults, our insecurities--

Here, they mean nothing at all.

We rule the land as King and Queen--

Eternally on  our thrones.

But nothing is ever as it seems--

We made our illusion our home.

We trapped our minds in this world,

Escaping the one we lived in.

Time rolled by, the pages unfurled,

Our story is nothing but fiction.
