Fiery Conjure

  • From darkness’ breath they sprung
  • as sister flames green, red, and gold
  • Together they toiled hearts and minds
  • with magic, beauty, and mystery.
  •
  •
  • Fear a green eyed brunette
  • spun terror caging hearts stark
  • with delusional minds in the dark
  •
  •
  • Allure a doe eyed red head
  • spread glamor like a spark
  • burning wings of a skylark.
  •
  •
  • Cheer a silver eyed blonde
  • cut terror from magic like a hark
  • from a huntsman horn gone marque.
  •
  •
  • Together they are isthmus’ bulwark
  • separating spirits from humans like a bark
  • keeps sap trapped behind a pockmark.
  •
  •
  • Fires burning in the night make them strong
  • conjuring hearts, souls and minds in a bond.
  • Together they unleash spirits to taunt humans
  • to rejoice with terror, mischief, and felicity.
  •
  •

  • Author's Notes:
  • Halloween has its own trinity of muses and fates: Fear, Allure, and Cheer. Together they bring terror, magic, and joy to both humans and spirits. This is my visualization of the three ladies chanting by the fire in the woods at night. Fiery

Poetry is a form of passionate expression kindled by an impression unbound by public conviction. I write mainly from two genres : impressionism and symbolism. Choose me or leave me, I'm not a backup plan and definitely not a second choice! Not everyone likes me but then again not everyone matters. What matters is peace and the feeling of being content. Every person is a book, this is just the place to share some pages from my book. Peace!
