Fiery Eyes
Those fiery eyes
They stole my heart
The moment they met mine
The man with fiery eyes
Told me he loved me every day
But all his words were lies.
He drove and drove to where no one else could see
He held my wrists and had a gun,
But I had a fight in me
Those fiery eyes got ever so bright
Filling with rage toward me..
I stood so tall so scared finger held tight
trembling on the trigger...
I closed my eyes and squeezed the trigger scared out of my mind
Those fiery eyes were slowly fading as his eyes locked on mine..
"Your heart was mine, and mine was yours,"
the tears fell from my eyes
His lies will never stop I thought,
hope is really lost..
So I pulled the trigger one last time,
The last bullet just for me..
I now lay in the arms of the man
with once fiery eyes and I hear his very last words spoken,
"i didn't mean to love you"...
