You’ve been married for fifty years,

And you’ve shared happiness, heartaches, and tears.

You’ve taken the vow fifty years ago,

And ever since then, together you grow.

You meant your vows,

From newlyweds to widows.

Even young love from teenage years,

Couldn’t stop you from being love engineers.

From that foundation, you built your home,

But you did not stay together alone.

Blessings arrived to make it complete,

That didn’t last long, they grew quicker than wheat.

Soon your blessings had families of their own,

And then your family continued to grow.

You were blessed with everything God gave from above,

All because two people fell in love.
