The Fight

As a kid

you are free

free of worry and

at ease

You come of age

at eighteen

then things change

drastically

You are sick

always have been

Everyday seems so hard

 but you are stronger

than you think you are

You are loved

you are cherished

but the pain

you can hardly bare it

Lifes a struggle

it has changed

now its up to you

to fight the pain

Its up to you

to follow your dreams

no matter how much

you want to scream

Fight for yourself

you are stronger than it all

you can overcome it

no matter how many times you fall
