Fight With My Demon

I'm at a battle with my demon I'm starting to think he's won He took over my life Yet the battle just begun I'm still here fighting for my life And I''m still fighting for my rights I'm fighting with the truth I'm fighting with my soul I'm fighting for the chances That I will get to hold I pray that the demon go away I pray that it will someday I have a fight that isn't fair I have a fight that is a dare My demon is taking me for a ride He's putting me up in the sky And all I can do is cry I'm fighting with my demon And he won't let me win I'm fighting with my demon All the way to the end I'm in a battle that causes me stress I'm in a battle that won't rest I'm at ends meet with my demon And I'm trying to let him go But he won't let go I'm at battle with my demon And it's so hard I'm at battle with my demon And I still haven't won So I'm telling him Be gone from this body Be gone from this life I'm telling him right now I'm through with this fight I've realized one thing about my demon inside He's always there when I close my eyes So maybe I won't sleep Maybe I won't cry All I know is there is a demon inside My demon will be gone That's a fact My demon will be gone And my life will be back in tact
