Fighter.

I look into your eyes seeing secrets and fears but no lies,

I pull you into my arms wondering who alls taken the time to see you.

To actually look inside attempting to understand all of you,

A girl so beautiful a girl so lost...

My dimond in the rough,

An angel sent from above never hurting always helping.

A girl whos been through so much,

Striving to please those around her never taking time for herself.

Looking into your eyes i see the pain you try to conceal from others,

The secrets that lurk within you.

Perhaps you'll tell them...

No, you'll stay suffering in silence.

Not only you you're worried about,

There's another much younger.

Not your child by birth but in all actuality she might as well be,

You stay for her .. You suffer for her.

She'll never truely understand all you've givin for her.

To you that doesn't matter..

Never wanting anything in return there is you.

A girl who's been pushed past breaking point time and time again.

Yet you still remain.

My fighter.

"We don't read and write poetry because it's cute. We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race. And the human race is filled with passion. And medicine, law, business, engineering, these are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for."
