Fighting Battles
There are times in life when you feel like you just want to give up.
You keep fighting the battles and the struggles life throws at you - and seems to always come when you're at the worst part of your life.
You still decide to strap on those boxing gloves, thinking that you can stand your ground and fight this on your own, but life keeps throwing curveballs and knocks you down again when you thought you had it all figured out - now you're all outta energy and don't know where to go or who to go to.
Heartbreak is tough.
Relationships are tough.
Life is tough.
Living in Gen Z is tough.
Forgiving can be tough.
Trusting can be tough.
Addiction is tough.
Death is tough.
Someone close to you.
Someone who makes you smile and makes your day.
Someone who you enjoy talking to.
Liking someone can be tough because maybe you don't want them to know, or even when the other person can't fully figure out their feelings.
Someone who you fell for, got too attached to; someone who you thought liked you because there were many signs shown that usually wouldn't be shown towards others.
They gave false hope and just left you with a heartbreak that hurts a lot.
The ache and disappointment are tough to deal with.
But the good news is that in all of this we have a heavenly Father who is the peace in the midst of the storm.
Our Father will never give us false hope; He will never leave us heartbroken or aching.
To God be the glory, the honor, and the praise! Amen!
