Fighting The Dark

You never think that itll be you Pass it off and say no that's not true But then there you are , sweat coating the palms of your hands Pulling and snapping the hair band on your arm Your heart sinks as you face your biggest fear yet You breathe in-and out over and over The person you put all your love in has left It's like they ripped your heart out You will never be the same But every day you have to put on a fake smile or else your lame Everyday you crack a smile like nothing ever happened
