Fighting the Darkness

Cloaked by shadows,

Enshrouded in mystery,

You stalk through the night.

The book is open,

The fate unwritten,

You search for what is right.

Doubt creeps over you,

Guilt ensnares you,

You struggle with all your might.

Confusion tramples you,

Pain burns through you,

You'll not give up this fight.

Your past unfolds,

Your future unlocks,

There is nothing left to hide.

The darkness lifts,

The Sun cuts through,

and you have found the Light.
