Fighting Deception

I followed your plan like you said, But you just really want me dead. You lied to me my whole life Encouraging me to pick up the knife But your deceit ends here And I won’t be ruled by fear This is my life to own Half of which you’ve blown I need to be who I was born to be And finally live my life for me Who cares what your opinions are For now I will live without a scar I feel renewed and blessed Now that I’m no longer depressed This is the life I always strived for And my heart will search no more.
