Fighting Fire

Cancer is a Fire.

It doesn't discriminate, the Fire

Not by race, religion, gender

It takes who it desires.

Who you were and what you aspired

Will surely change, the Fire.

A blessing that woke me from ignorance?

Or a pain that left its mark?

Truley, the Fire in me

Sparking light in the dark.
