Fighting Through Pain

Things will hurt

That won't change

Pain is a constant

But at least there's sun

There's laughter

There's love

And so much to gain

I'm dealing with pain

No, it's not easy

It's a hill

That seems to get steeper

Or maybe a trench

That seems to grow deeper

It's hard to find light

Buried in a trench

Fighting in the dark

But don't give up

Because one you get out

The sight is beyond amazing

Things will get better

Yes, it's cliched

That doesn't mean it's not true

They got better for me

And they will get better for you
